This wind farm is along the I-80 in southwestern Wyoming, between Evanston on the Utah border and Lyman. I am driving through this area on my way from Salt Lake City to Dinosaur National Monument. With Wyoming being the least populated state in the US while being one of the larger states by area, the landscape consists of open plateaus, and out-of-state vehicles vastly outnumber locals on the interstate.

This is my first time in Wyoming in 12 years, and second time ever. I have been to the state's four corners - Yellowstone in the northwest, Devils Tower in the northeast, and Laramie in the southeast, all in 2000, and now Evanston-Lyman area in the southwest. And interestingly, going from one corner to another has always involved going through a different state. (And just four short months later, I'd be back in Wyoming again, to explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks on my way to Canada.)
