I had been on the road since the day after Christmas, visiting Grand Canyon before ending up in the Las Vegas area. And honestly, I am not enjoying this trip, and my car is adding to the grief by illuminating the Check Engine Light. Turned out that one of the four camshafts in the engine was slightly off-balance - not enough to affect engine performance or be caught as a manufacturing defect, but just enough to cause tiny extra vibrations and emissions issues. It was fixed under warranty, though the dealership and Hyundai engineers took two weeks to find and resolve the problem.
