When categorizing files, you must use already existing categories, or take the time to create new categories. new categories must be found to have at least a few images that fit in them. You added an identical set of categories to a number of files, all of which were nonexistent. this is not the proper way to categorize files. i took the time to give some appropriate categories to files you uploaded. this should give you a sense of how its done. its not easy to get right, and no one ever comes up with all the existing categories that may describe a file, but theres no excuse for adding wrong categories. An image of a book cover is never an "NCO", though the book may be by, or about, an NCO. the book could be about an NCO's experience in the military, in which case a category like "military biographies" could be used, if it existed, or created if we had other such images of books here. such a category is more likely found on Wikipedia, though. Please dont add back these bulk, nonexistent categories to any files. My goal here is to keep the "San Francisco Bay Area" category tree functional, and i tend to check on work i have previously done to see if its working or if there are problems. please ask me any questions about categorizing. note that i found some new categories for the poetry book cover.[[User:Mercurywoodrose|Mercurywoodrose]] ([[User talk:Mercurywoodrose|talk]]) 03:12, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Please stop adding nonexistent categories. This action is purely self promotional and does not help the project. PS the PersonData template is not used on Wikimedia Commons, so adding it does absolutely nothing.[[User:Mercurywoodrose|Mercurywoodrose]] ([[User talk:Mercurywoodrose|talk]]) 06:04, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
