:It is not me, but it's a consequence of the copyright. Remember, you are uploading a photo, created by somebody else, and you are stating that everybody can use it for free. If we have neither the name of the photographer nor the year of creation, how shall we evaluate the copyright status? So, it is in your own interest to provide as many information as you can get. If the original photo print gives no hints about date and author, you may search through the older publication of the archive or university. ::I repeat once again: this photographs are a (former) part of a private collection, and, as I know, they were not published anytime and anywhere. Most of them were probably taken by a different professional photographers in Poznan and (may be) in Cracow, but now it is impossible for me to determine their names. It is almost sure, that none of them are alive in the beginning of XXI century. Of course, I can give a faked, "taken from the air" names and dates, but I prefer to be honest and honestly admit, that the author is unknown. But if you still think, that uploading of this photographs to "wikimedia commons" violates the copyright law, just delete them, please.
