I am new in this community thus try to comply with what I am reading as guidelines. I notice you deleted just about anything I had uploaded though in the guidelines I read that own work is fine to upload...then could you explain the reasoning behind the deletions of the 4 scans of the articles that I wrote and pictures I took? :"Own work" means you're the photographer, not that you scanned a magazine page. You have to be the original photographer or have [[COM:OTRS|permission]] from the original photographer to upload an image on Commons. See also [[Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter]].
