I had automatically thought of clergy as being a profession, like [[:Category:Priests from Italy]] or [[:Category:Lawyers from California]], rather than thinking of the clergy as a mass or a group. Even if the latter case, though, it should likely be "in" much like [[:Category:Crowds in the United States]] and [[:Category:Political parties in Brazil]]. I've looked at the content of the clergy categories, and I'm inclined to think they should be treated like a profession (therefore - from). But I agree completely that they should be harmonized.
