Deleting because the Wikipedia article is gone seems like a pretty poor deletion rationale to me. How does that square with the deletion policy? I thought it had been established that the image was accurate and genuine (although there was some doubt about the article it was in). I can think of several uses if it were kept: the uploader had stated an intention to create a French Wikipedia article, it might find a use in some article on heraldry unrelated to the family, and it could be used as a template for creating other similar heraldry. I see your bot just changing the tags, wouldn't it be wise to notify the uploader as well with the appropriate warning message? Most of these images are obviously mistagged with OTRS pending (to cover a copyvio) but we still may lose one or two good images where the mail got lost. --[[User:Denniss|Denniss]] ([[User talk:Denniss|talk]]) 02:55, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
