The images i uploaded were not licensed. No copyright was found after lengthy search. If the owner does not provide proof of their ownership of, and right to distribute and image, then logically, I should be able to use it. Right? I mean, what's the point of having 2 ends of the spectrum: copyright, and express permission. Would it not be more prudent to have only copyright, and non copyright? That would certainly make it more easy to tell whether or not one is allowed to use something. There should be no in-between limbo space, where the material in question is subject to neither public access nor copyright safekeeping? Even so, there is, regrettably, said in-between space, but no provided information about what to do in the event that the image is in this state. Also, the box at the bottom of the page says i uploaded an image after being asked not to do so. This is, in fact, complete nonsense. I uploaded the two images at the same time, and was never notified of any complaints regarding the legality of my actions.
