I have been with Wikimedia officially for a little over 5 years now and love it. I first joined the English Wikipedia in 2008, although I have a few anonymous edits dating back to 2006. So why am I still here after so long? I look to the wonderful people, the eclectic community, and collaborative spirit which all in all has made the Wikimedia movement not only a palpable possibility but also a massive success. I only hope that if you are new to Wikimedia, you will (as I have) discover the same rewarding feeling from contributing to the sum of all knowledge, or that if you are an old timer, you'll continue to stay and contribute.
