:There is an established way to indicate direction in BSicons, which is the use of chevron arrows, such as {{BS-q|STRf}} or {{BS-q|lvNULgq}}. You decided to go ahead and create your own style for the Panama Canal diagram. Useddenim was polite enough to try and find a way big yellow triangles could be fint into the BSicon system. :Adding comment on a subject away from the location of its ongoing discussion without even a link to it is maybe also being illiterate (or deceitful, and naive at that). [[Talk:BSicon/Icon geometry and SVG code neatness#Windroses|Here]]’s where I explain to you why I think {{BS-q|numN000}} etc. are better names than the ones you used, considering other litteral icons in existence — which you may have not known when you devised the names {{BS-q|mapNORTH000deg}} etc. I purposefully created a new set, instead of renaming yours, out of respect for other people’s work and to invite discussion on the subject. You chose personal attacks instead, first with snark and misplaced smugness, now with a petty tantrum.

:This list tried to deal with a series of more or less problematic icons which were uploaded at the same time and into the same (atypical) category, to be used in the same single diagram. That they were contributed by one same user is immaterial and any suggestion of personal bias or antipathy is ludicrous. Indeed, some of these icons were dully integrated in the system, others are oddballs still neading attention, others are good new ideas and welcomed as such.
