It seems that a new map that is planned to show up in Moscow Metro (but only planned as yet) will have all lines labelled with colour words in both Russian and English, to help visually impaired. (See [http://www.artlebedev.ru/everything/metro/map2/].) So we'll officially have red, green, blue, light blue, (brown), orange, purple, yellow, grey, lime, teal and blue grey lines. What a crazy random happenstance, as one en.wp user used to call himself. [[User:YLSS|YLSS]] ([[User talk:YLSS|talk]]) 20:29, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

* There were about the same colors on the diagrams of the Moscow metro twenty and thirty years ago. There are difference only in nuances. Lines are very often called by their colors, not their names.
