Clearing up the shell casings after the 8 barrel pom-pom has been in action during gunnery training at Breakwater Fort at the entrance to Portsmouth Sound. The fort is one of the only two places where sailors can, after learning the theory of gunnery, fire "live" ammunition before passing out as qualified anti aircraft gunners.
