The end of this Ju88C of KG 40 was caught on the gun camera of Flight Lieutenant Joseph Singleton's Mosquito II on 11 June 1943. Singleton was leading five Mosquitos of No 25 Squadron over the Bay of Biscay when they ran into a similar number of Ju 88s. In the ensuing battle, one enemy aircraft was destroyed and two damaged.}}
