| description = {{en|''Long-distance lorry driver, Fred Horrod, with his landlady Mrs Louie Quaile in Manchester during 1944.''
Whenever he is in Manchester, lorry driver Fred Horrod stays with 62 year old Mrs Louie Quaile. Here Fred drinks tea at the kitchen table, whilst chatting to his landlady. According to the original caption, Mrs Quaile is "known to hundreds of lorry drivers all over England. In peacetime Mrs Quaile cooked 50 meals a day. She remembers wistfully that she used from 25 to 30 dozen eggs a week and 40lbs of bacon". Mrs Quaile has a pet budgerigar, which can be seen in its cage above Fred's head.}}
