Official Christmas card of Kaiser Wilhelm II sent to Hugh, 5th Earl of Lonsdale in December 1913. The card was the last to be sent to Lord Lonsdale before the outbreak of the First World War and features a portrait of the Kaiser on horseback. On the back of the card the Kaiser sent Lord Lonsdale "very best wishes for 1914". The annual exchange of greetings resumed after the War.}}
