|Description=The first Royal Navy Blackburn ''Roc'' seaplane conversion (s/n L3059) parked on trestles outside the hangars at the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment, Felixstowe, Suffolk (UK). Four ''Roc''s were modified with floats (L3057, L3059, L3060 and L3174). It was found that the flying qualities of the first ''Roc'' with floats fitted (L3059) was poor and it was lost in a crash. The other three aircraft were fitted with a large dorsal fin under the tail that improved stability. The seaplane ''Roc''s later operated with the turret removed and a target winch fitted.
