==Teething trouble with Flickr upload tool==

I was pleased to see you can now upload images from Flickr using just a link, something I have thought could be done and would be very useful for ages; I upload a lot of files from Flickr and lack the technical knowhow to set up and/or use a bot. Unfortunately I have found it not to work. Even though the images are free to use and appropriately licensed for Commons, the uploads fail on the first hurdle, can anyone explain this and is this a problem only I'm having.
