Ed Seeman is the man who after succeeding as one of the nation's leading animation TV commercial producers of the 60's through 80's also became Frank Zappa's personal filmmaker for two years (1967-1968) filming the original Mothers of Invention, then assumed the NOM DU PORN of EDUARDO CEMANO and was one of the original porn pioneers that introduced, hard core feature films with story, humor and social significance, mostly created in one to three days and is still selling as DVD’s

Ed graduated from Music and Art High School in 1949 where he was an art student that sang in the choir. he Started animating at Paramount Studios in New York, working on Popeye & Casper the Ghost. After serving two years in the Army as 4th Division Headquarter's Cartoonist in Frankfurt, Germany, doing a comic strip, security and re-enlistment ads for which he received a commendation ribbon & medal.

After the army Ed formed an animation studio with Partner Ray Favata and produced many famous animated tv commercials such as SUGAR BEAR (16 YRS) TRIX RABBIT,COCOA PUFFS, BULLWINKLE, MY LITTLE PONY,BILLIE JO JIVE FOR CHILDREN'S TELEVISION WORKSHOP AND FLINTSTONES VITAMINS to name just a few. Along with Ray he won many CLIOS, ADDYS and ART DIRECTOR awards highlighted by an EMMYaward for “THE GREAT SPACECOASTER” opening. www.edseeman.com/animation

In the field of Dance he served on the Board of Directors of DANCE THEATER WORKSHOP in new York as Multi Media Director producing experimental dance films with RUDY PEREZ, FRANCIS ALLENIKOFF, DANA WOLFE, CLAY TAGLIAFERRO, DANIEL NAGRIN, BARBARA ROAN AND STEWART HODES. In 1989 Ed left New York and settled in South Florida and married for the 5th time an old girl friend that is still going strong as a marriage and a 24 hours a day business partnership.. Together they rejuvenated Ed’s animation career producing many local TV commercials Most Notable was his ANIMATED MANATEE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT "MUMPHREY, MINDY AND MAX."
