Commons talk:User-specific galleries, templates and categories policy

‎Is there anything stopping User-specific categories appearing in the main category tree?: i never said anything about that :)

:One would need to explain why user categories must be hidden first before changing the policy? Don't object me with 'notability', we are on Commons, not on Wikipedia, so tracking files created or edited by a given user should be visible to all users, not hidden... ::I don't suggest that user categories be compulsorily hidden. It currently states that it ''can'' be done by using {{tl|user category}} (which hides the category), not that it ''must''. That's a different issue. --[[User:Moogsi|moogsi]] ([[User talk:Moogsi|blah]]) 00:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
