Thank you for your review. The irregularities you marked are however i.m.o. not an effect of inproper stacking but caused by the physical/optical limitations of the stacking method itself: If the object contains '''distant''' and overlapping parts (which is not always the case, but here), small unsharp regions at the boundary inevitably occur, since when the focus is on the distant part, the overlapping unsharp part in the front is enlarged. Norbert is right, this is a difficult point for metode. But there is as many, stacking methods to overcome this difficulty. I abandoned Helicon focus because it is not very rich in alternative methods.
