:* Hi, this is an ”old” picture (ok, from 2010...) and I think I've learned quite much since then. But when I was in the same place the last year I tested different kind of compositions and places to take the shot. I ended up a similar looking composition because I still felt that a better spot and composition was very difficult to find. In my taste, the left ridge was quite necessary to include because otherwise I wouldn't have liked how the coast was so close to the left edge of the picture. In addition, the left ridge is so high and close that the composition would only get more weird by including the top of that mountain (then the left line wouldn't go out from the top).
