Although the uploader was an established user at the time of upload, nothing in this user's user pages or contribution history suggests they would have been in a position to take a photograph of B. F. Skinner in 1950. Without more evidence, I'm inclined to reject the claim of own work. The user is not likely to make an appearance because they are retired. I have already released those rights to this image enumerated under the [http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/deed.en Creative Commons 3.0] license. :I am more than a little displeased at being dragged out of retirement over such a trivial matter. Do we now look for reasons to delete uploaded photographs based on what seem to be gut instincts? We trawl through contribution histories looking for reasons to be [[meta:Don't be a dick|dicks]]? Shame on you! What in the world could have possibly provoked this unwanted intrusion? It's easy to delete content but hard to build it, and the culture of deletionism is part of the reason I quit Wikipedia: worthwhile content isn't to be cleared away like so much brush, rather it needs to be nurtured carefully. In many cases (such as this), it's a very personal matter. And now you want my personal details? No thanks. At any rate, it's true that based on my contributions, you would rightly conclude that I am a mathematician and a humanist. But I'm quite baffled by the implication that there might not have been mathematicians and humanists at Harvard in the 1950's.
