I think a different format is no reason for a separate category ([[:Category:Cyrillic letters]] also exists). If someone is searching for a specific letter he has to look in two categories. --[[User:Torsch|Torsch]] ([[User talk:Torsch|talk]]) 21:00, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

:With 500+ images in the main category, it makes sense to have a SVG subcat. Remember that for wikipedia displays, most people will prefer scalable SVG file formats while it is easier to manage for people that create SVG files form other formats. --[[User:Foroa|Foroa]] ([[User talk:Foroa|talk]]) 06:20, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
