::I suspect that some of the resizing is something that you can do if we help you to find the right help pages, they aren't easy to find, but will tell you how to create thumbnails that are the correct size for the pages you want. If you can show me the problems you have on other wikis where the images are not fitting the way you want them to, I can show you the code to use.
